Laurel Ridge Treatment Center provides a variety of mental health and addiction treatment services, including an adult intensive outpatient treatment program.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Program
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is Laurel Ridge’s least restrictive level of care. The daytime program allows patients to receive treatment that addresses a full range of psychiatric and substance abuse problems, while they continue to perform daily family and work obligations.
The IOP includes individual therapy, group therapy and more, all while working on the goal of long-term improvement.
Why Choose Intensive Outpatient Rehab
There are many reasons to start your journey to better mental health or sobriety through an adult outpatient mental health or intensive outpatient drug rehab program. It could be that you want to attend treatment for yourself, your family, your loved ones, your career or any number of other reasons. But, one thing is certain — getting treatment is key to positive outcomes.
According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), those who seek treatment and remain in treatment are more likely to avoid relapse. An IOP helps in this way by working in an in-between role, from residential treatment to full discharge.
With treatment for just a few hours a day for a few days per week, an Intensive Outpatient Program is a great step-down from residential treatment. This allows individuals to practice the tools, skills and lessons they learned in residential treatment in a more relaxed environment.
