Laurel Ridge Levels of Care

Every Laurel Ridge program — from inpatient to residential to partial hospitalization to intensive outpatient — is designed to meet specific clinical needs. Our team of trained mental health professionals provides confidential assessments 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to determine the appropriate level of care for each individual’s unique situation.

Following the assessment and consultation with Laurel Ridge’s physicians, the patient may be recommended to one of our levels of care: inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient or residential. In some cases, patients are referred to one of the many private practice providers and outreach clinics who work closely with Laurel Ridge. Our programs vary in duration, based on each patient’s specific needs, and patients may transition between or “step down” from one level of care to another as treatment progresses.

Our treatment center is much less like a hospital and much more like a college campus. Wandering paths, abundant oak trees, plenty of fresh air sets the stage for personal restoration and growth.

While inpatient treatment often carries the stigma of a white-walled, sterile hospital setting, the Laurel Ridge experience is anything but that. Patients will enjoy the South Texas sunshine as they move throughout the campus for various groups, activities, challenge courses and meals.
