Partial Hospitalization

Laurel Ridge’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for individuals experiencing psychiatric and substance abuse problems is beneficial for those in need of a more intensive program than traditional outpatient but less restrictive than inpatient hospitalization. Also referred to as day treatment, PHP is offered five days a week. Patients attend the program during the day and return home in the evening to utilize the skills they have learned.

“Destination Recovery” is an innovative and dynamic part of Laurel Ridge Treatment Center’s continuum of care with services that are organized around the individual needs of the patient. The program is designed for adults with a psychiatric or substance abuse/misuse disorder in which the need for treatment is more intensive than outpatient office visits but less restrictive than 24-hour care.

“Formative Years” is a day treatment program designed to empower young people ages 8 – 17 years old struggling with behavioral health challenges. Day treatment allows your child to return home in the evenings to practice the skills they have learned. During the school year, patients attend our University of Texas-affiliated charter school and have the opportunity to practice these skills in a scholastic setting.

Our military program, “Mission Resiliency,” is a day treatment program located in Killeen, Texas that provides specialized programming designed to meet the unique needs of active duty personnel, veterans and military family members. The program is designed for people with a psychiatric and/or substance use disorder diagnosis. Our treatment follows the VA/DoD evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and SAMHSA best practices.
