PHP for Active Duty Military Personnel
Mission Resiliency is a TRICARE®-certified stand-alone partial hospitalization program (PHP) serving Ft. Hood’s Active Duty personnel who require more intensive care than offered through outpatient services but less intensive than or as step-down care from inpatient treatment. Mission Resiliency PHP is an innovative and dynamic part of Laurel Ridge Treatment Center’s continuum of care, with person-centered and evidence-based interventions to ensure we meet the individual needs of each service member. Mission Resiliency PHP also provides specialized programming designed to meet the unique needs and culture of the military community.
Mission Resiliency PHP is proven to work! The program’s mission is to provide comprehensive therapeutic services tailored to each individual in our care in the least restrictive setting. Our goal is to prepare service members to successfully return to Active Duty or transition into civilian life. We assist the service member in reaching their individualized treatment goals through a team approach. Mission Resiliency PHP is appropriate for Active Duty personnel who are struggling with PTSD, trauma (including combat, sexual, childhood, or other), depression, anxiety, dual diagnosis substance use, or other behavioral, social, or occupational stressors.
While in treatment, service members will be offered opportunities for evaluations and psychiatric services, including medication management, nursing services, treatment planning, group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy by licensed clinicians. Mission Resiliency PHP offers an open cohort to accept referrals at any point in the four-week program cycle. Referrals are accepted via phone or fax.

Why Choose PHP
This full-time day treatment active duty military rehab program allows individuals to attend treatment and therapy while also attending to other, non-treatment related responsibilities.
A PHP allows more freedom than residential treatment due to being for a few hours a day throughout the week rather than from morning to night, and can be a great step-down from residential treatment, as well.
Active Duty Military and Behavioral Health Problems
According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), one in four active-duty military members showed signs of a mental health condition. A military treatment facility can provide mental health resources and counseling services for active-duty service members and their families while navigating any challenges that those who are seeking treatment or mental health care may face.
Active Duty Military and Substance Use Disorders
According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), substance abuse problems occur quite frequently in the military, but fear of repercussions, stigma and mandatory drug testing can discourage active-duty members from seeking help.
